About Me
My name is Linda Taylor and I am a 6th grade teacher and teach all subjects. My favorite subjects to teach are math, science and computer technology. I am also a Smart Certified Trainer and in the evenings I teach the staff in our school district how to use Smart Notebook software and how to integrate technology into their classrooms.
I have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked as an engineer for 10 years. I was a stay home mom for 9 years and then returned to school and obtained a Masters of Arts in Education from National-Louis University.
I have decided that I love being in school and learning new skills. As a result I have decided to return to school once again and pursue a Graduate Certificate in E-Learning and Online Teaching.
My hobby is my horses. I have two horses and love to trail ride with my daughter and my girlfriend. My son is highly allergic to horses and prefers motorcycles.
My greatest accomplishment is my children, Angela and Zak. They have grown into amazing adults that I enjoy being with. I am very lucky!
